Convening the symposium
As Chair, I led the organisation coordinating 5 directors and 47 international students for a rigorous technical programme — and secured an external collaboration with EUROAVIA.
Micro gas-turbines for aviation
Authored “Micro Gas-Turbine Engines for Aviation Propulsion: A Review of Technologies, Challenges, and Future Directions” — surveying the state of the art for compact propulsion systems.
EUROAVIA Collaboration
We were honoured to host the President of EUROAVIA, Mr Pedro Moreira, and the Secretary of EUROAVIA, Mr Luigi Amirabile.
They enriched our event through the first Special Guest presentation they delivered after the Conference Address, in which they highlighted the necessity of Academy and Industry collaboration in aerospace.

This year’s conference is notably diverse, with close to 50 students from all around the world presenting topics from stationary to aero propulsion and power engines and many other auxiliary systems.
